9

Mint

A

Authentic

Card is verified as genuine but does not receive a numerical grade due to alteration, trimming, recoloring, or extreme condition issues.

Half-Grade Policy

EJE may assign half grades (e.g., 9.5, 7.5, 6.5) when a card clearly falls between two grade levels. 1.5 is designated as "1.5 – Fair."

Evaluation Criteria

Four Subgrades. Total Transparency.

Centering

Border alignment on both front and back to assess image positioning.

Corners

Each corner examined for sharpness, wear, fraying under magnification.

Edges

All four edges inspected for chipping, nicks, rough cuts.

Surface

Evaluated for scratches, print defects, staining, and blemishes.
